Class Descriptions 

Hot Hatha- Modo O.G.

Modo yoga - the original series - is a dynamic practice that blends breath and movement in a heated studio to detoxify, strengthen, and open the entire body. The class includes 34 postures and is accessible to beginners while offering a challenge to advanced practitioners.

Mat Pilates

This class is designed to improve core strength, flexibility, and overall alignment. The class includes a series of low-impact exercises that target the muscles of the abdomen, back, hips, and glutes, with a focus on proper breathing and form. Pilates is a great way to improve posture, increase body awareness, and reduce stress. All levels are welcome.

 

Gentle Flow

In this class the focus is on moving with breath through a series of flow postures, in a slow and highly meditative way. A significant portion of the class is on the floor holding stretches for a longer period of time, where the focus is on relaxing the muscles and opening the connective tissues of the body. This class is designed to accommodate all practice levels and is particularly suitable for pre-natal and post-natal students.

Hot Yin 

Hot yin yoga blends prolonged stretches with heat therapy to gently challenge and open the body, fostering circulation and deep relaxation. Its passive postures facilitate profound release, relieving stored tension as well as renewal of the fascia. The heated setting promotes deeper openings and heightened blood flow, complementing dynamic workouts or serving as a rejuvenating practice after a long day, suitable for all levels.

Hot Flow

In this dynamic and invigorating class, you will flow through a series of poses that link breath with movement, creating a moving meditation. The heated environment promotes detoxification, helps to deepen your stretches, and enhances your flexibility. Suitable for all levels, this practice will challenge your strength, balance, and focus, leaving you feeling energized and refreshed.

Functional Movement

This class is designed to improve strength, movement, and cardiovascular health. The focus of this class is to ensure that as we age, we maintain function. Based on the premise of push, pull, carry, squat, lunge, hinge and rotate this class is sure to safely build muscle, strength, resilience and stability in the body. This class is for anyone who wants to improve their fitness and function. Take this class weekly and experience less pain, more energy and power in your body.

 FAQs

  • Our custom designed Infared heated room is heated to about 95 degress for all hot classes with the exception of gentle flow which is heated to about 85 degrees. Pilates classes are not heated.

  • The infrared panels deliver and transmit heat by way of thermal radiation and emit infrared rays. Far-infrared heat is thought to benefit heart health, post heart attack recovery, reduce cancer risk, improve healing after cancer treatments, improve arthritis, reduce pain, and improve circulation and decrease inflammation.
